Such a slacker, I know.
I realize that my blog is now ridiculously out of date... but I'm happy to report it's only because I'm working so much! Can't complain about that. I plan to update soon with a greatest hits of Summer 09 post before we go roaring into the fall weddings already, so stay tuned!

Cindy and Brad, 5/16/09
Cindy and Brad were married at Sussex United Methodist Church and had their reception at the Chandelier Ballroom in Hartford. In between we stopped at Lime Kilns Park in Menomonee Falls (which was finally in full bloom!). This couple's honest affection and sense of humor made an impression on me the first time we met, and I had a great time with them on their wedding day.
I would also highly recommend Lime Kilns park for any kind of leisure time. When I was out scouting for the shoot last week I saw two deer right in the middle of town!

Laura and Tim, 3/8/09
Laura and Tim were married last summer in Moab, Utah. Although I did not have the pleasure of photographing their nuptials, I did have the enormous pleasure of doing a portrait of them at Red Rock Canyon outside of Las Vegas, NV. We had a great time trekking through the rocks and I couldn't have asked for a nicer, cuter, or more natural couple. Then we went out for sushi. Thanks for going hiking with me, guys!

I LOVE this photo. Totally candid moment inspired by pokey rocks. She has such an easy smile.

This is when I wished we had a wild burro strolling by.
